CERADINI B&C established in 1980s in Verona and it’s active in the production, research and distribution of high quality plant propagation material. Although created to meet the sole demands of the Ceradini corporate farms, CERADINI B&C was met with high interest from local producers, to such an extent that in 2000s the nursery and the production of plants became a separate branch of the company.
The mission of the company is the production and distribution of high quality “virus tested” propagation material free from pathogens and diseases. This comes along with a constant monitoring onto the new trends of the market, concluding collaborations that can present new products and innovation.
The composition of the soils, and the experience gained over the years, means CERADINI B&C is a paragon of developing plants with an excellent root system, essential for the rapid development in any orchard with a keen eye in “virus tested” production procedures.

The nursery CERADINI B&C has entered into strong partnerships which allows it to use state-of-the-art technology and provide customers with the best given result. The nursery collaborates with “in vitro” laboratories, producing plants with tissue culture techniques characterized by fully aseptic conditions for plant material management. Afterwards, proceeds with the micrografting (in lab) and the hardening of the plants into greenhouses before proceeding with the transplanting on selected fields, free from pathogens and diseases.

Ceradini B&C nursery is cultivated in a protected crop environment and it’s in full compliance with the ministerial decree 7.02.2011
Meanwhile, all the provisions and technical regulations of The Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies are being followed, concerning the production and commercialization of propagating material for the purpose of movement of certified plant material, with the main characteristic being the absence of pathogens.


The Ceradini B&C nursery cultivates approximately a total of 5 hectares producing more than 180.000 kiwi plants annually. It has 5 freeze chambers to preserve the plants until are ready to be delivered. In synergy with the commercial sector, the company has developed a portfolio, offering quality products to the growers.
