Kiwi

Kiwifruit is the core business of the CERADINI GROUP, and it is exported all over the world by us, to America and Canada, throughout the Far East (China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, India, Hong Kong, Singapore), Australia, North and East Europe, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa.
Kiwifruit (or Actinidia chinensis) originates from China but the most important world producers are Italy, New Zealand, Greece, and Chile.

AMONG THE VARIETIES, THE MOST PRECIOUS AND MOST HANDLED BY THE CERADINI GROUP ARE HAYWARD (GREEN) AND SORELI (GOLD) KIWIFRUIT, ALSO AVAILABLE IS BO.ERIKA (GREEN) AND SUMMERKIWI (GREEN) KIWIFRUIT.

HAYWARD

The Hayward variety represents 95% of Italian kiwifruit production: it is characterized by an oblong shape, brown skin, emerald green flesh. The taste is sweet with slightly sour notes. The Hayward from our hemisphere is available from early November through until late June.

SORELI

The Soreli variety is characterised by its bright yellow flesh and a particular sweetness. It has a regular and elongated shape and its availability runs from late September to late March. This variety comes from the selection work of the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Udine.
