At the beginning of the last century, and with the arrival of a consortium water programme for irrigation in Verona, and the surrounding countryside, the production of peach, fruit crops, and vegetables, began to flourish. The entrepreneurial instinct of its founders has allowed Ceradini B&C to become one of the first Veronese companies, and therefore among the first in Italy, to introduce “actinidia” (Kiwifruit) to their land. The company has been able to grow from its humble beginnings to provide experience and technical innovation for its growers, and to test new solutions to assist its growers, becoming a point of reference for farmers interested in novelty, and innovation. The Veronese cultivation area is famous in Italy and abroad especially for the production of its peaches, today it is even more so for its delicious kiwis, thanks to the work of Ceradini B&C.

The brands of the group::
The development of a dedicated nursery business focused on producing quality kiwifruit plants can also be counted in the successes of the Ceradini group.
Started in the 1980s to meet the sole demands of the Ceradini corporate farms, it was met with considerable interest from local producers, to such an extent that in 2000 the nursery and the production of plants became a separate branch of the company.
The composition of the soils, and the experience gained over many years, means Ceradini B&C has to experience needed to develop plants with an excellent root system, essential for the rapid development of any orchard after planting.
