Hayward

Hayward C8 is the most cultivated variety of Actinidia in the world. The fruit is comparatively larger than the conventional variety, it mainly produces single fruits.

Meanwhile fruit ripening takes place 1 week earlier than the conventional. It has better storage ability in the cold rooms. Furthermore, it requires less thinning and at the same time produces better fruit quality. It has also shown increased resistance to Phytophthora spp.
